Trade With Plaschke, Thy Sweater is Argyle

So I have made several trades over the (short) life of the blog, and each and every one has been great. The same is true for the trade I made with Greg from Plaschke, Thy Sweater is Argyle.  Have you read his blog? If not, I highly suggest you check it out, especially if you are a Dodgers fan!

The cards we traded had a ways to travel--around 3,000 miles, in fact.  They arrived in great condition, although a bit jet lagged.

I sent Greg a bunch of Dodgers cards, including an Eric Karros GU jersey, and in turn he sent me a whole bunch of Phillies cards and a sweet Roy Oswalt jersey card--which I especially like because it is my first Oswalt relic.  He also sent a really nice Turkey Red Zimmerman rookie card.  See below...

I love the Zimmerman, especially the red border.  And the fact that it is his rookie is icing on the cake. Awesome card!  In addition to a bunch more great cards, he also sent a 1968 Topps Ricardo Joseph:

Thanks for the trade Greg, I look forward to more trades in the future.

In other In the Mail news, Ted from Crinkly Wrappers had his Year End Clearance and he sent a bunch of cards over.  Thanks, Ted! I have a whole bunch of Blue Jays cards coming your way.

Included in the lot I received was this Jon Link chrome card. Night Owl, if you don't have it, of course I'll add it to your Jon Link collection!

Have a great night everyone!

  1. I believe the only thing I'm missing from my "massive" Link collection are fancy-pants cards like the blue chrome autograph item.
