Braves and Phillies Fans Unite...

For a trade! 

Derek over at Tomahawk Chopping sent me a nice lot of cards as part of a trade.  I've done so many trades lately and I have so many in the works that I can't even remember what I sent him.  I'm fairly certain it was of the Atlanta and/or shiny 2011s variety, however.

My favorite card in this trade is not even a baseball card.  It's a really sweet orange border Chrome Joe Flacco.

The scan doesn't do the card justice. It shimmers, it shines, and I love it.  It is by far my favorite football card I own (ok, I own about 10) but it could serve as the basis of a Joe Flacco player collection.  We'll see how   things go down the line.  Flacco is a favorite of mine, so much so that I have his jersey.  I managed to go to a few Ravens games this season and he is fun to watch, as is the rest of the team. 

Of course there were baseball cards as part of the stack.  Here are some highlights:

Hello black border Ryan Howard and Clifton Phifer Lee.  Two cards I did not have, and the Lee is a nice addition to my growing Lee collection. 

Shiny Indians and Shiny Mets to go along with my quest to get the base and shiny card of every team in baseball.  Note to self: I need to update this on my want list.

Two more Halladays, bringing my collection to 276 cards.  And a Ryan Zimmerman I did not have.  Great cards.

And a few old school gems too.  Mitch Williams looking badass, and Andy Ashby looking like he needs to eat a burger.
