A Bunch of Traders, and a Crinkly Contest

Hi everyone! Crinkly Wrappers is holding a contest and you should go enter it! It's easy to enter and a very, very clever idea. You won't be disappointed.

Crinkly Wrappers also sent me a surprise package chock full of Halladays, Phillies, and Nats. See, he collects Blue Jays, and Sir Roy of Halladay (dumb, I know) was a Blue Jay for his whole career before joining the Phillies.  I've gotten all of the duplicate Halladays that he has, and for that I am beyond thankful.  He is the main reason that my Roy Halladay player collection is full of so many awesome cards. I hope I pull some amazing Blue Jay cards so I can send all of them to him and return the favor!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just can't say it enough.

See this below? Those are ALL Roy Halladay cards to add to the collection!  My 226 number to the left is about to grow exponentially.

I was also stoked to find a game used jersey card in the surprise package:

Sorry for the bad pictures, I'm too lazy to scan tonight.

In addition to the awesome package above, getting the mail this week has been fun, as I've gotten lots of trade packages. This is the first of a few posts highlighting trades I've completed over the past few weeks.  So if you aren't featured in this one, you will be in the next few days.

Here's some cool stuff from my trade with The Sandlot.  I traded him some game used Piazzas for his player collection, as well as some David Wright cards.  In exchange, he sent me these amazing game used Phillies cards:

Sweet Bowman Heritage Ryan Howard two color swatch

And a really unique 2005 Leather and Lumber Carlos Ruiz game used bat/auto #194/256.  I am a big Ruiz fan and I hardly have any of his cards, but now I have this! Thanks for the trade.

Next up was a small, but really nice trade with Sooz from A Cardboard Problem.  I sent her a game used A-Rod All Star card, and a gold numbered Kouzmanoff card. In exchange she sent me these:

A Halladay Throwback Manufactured Patch card from the new 2011 set, and a retro Strasburg which is, of course, exclusive to Target.  I love the cards.

Matt H. and I live rather close to each other, so this trade didn't take long to complete at all.  I sent Matt lots of A&G cards on his needs list, and in return he sent me some Goodwin Champions on my needs list, along with some Halladays, Lees, and Phillies:

Thanks Matt!

Just so you guys know, today I received trade packages from Michael S., Play at the Plate, and Cardsplitter.  I can't wait to open the envelopes!
