The Bronze, The Hits.
Here are the last of the featured cards from the box break. The bronze cards are super thick. All for trade minus Mr. Posey in the middle, and the Beckett. Cardinals fans might be interested.
The box hits were ehhhh. Not bad but not great. The Adam Jones auto is on card, and nice bright blue, but it's...Adam Jones. Not that he's bad, it's just that he's not, like, a Phillie. Also pictured is a Brandon Phillips bat card. Kind of bland--the card needs more pop to it.
Both are for trade!
Overall I do not regret buying this hobby box, but unless there is some kind of additional stellar deal, it will probably be the last box I bust of this product. I'd give the box a 7/10 if I had to rate it, which I don't--but just did.
In other news, Hamels pretty much sucked last night. I guess after three wins in a row I got spoiled in thinking the Phillies would go 162-0 (not really, but you know). This is not football. I keep reminding myself that the season is long and losses will happen many times. Softening the blow is that the Braves lost too.
Except for the third inning, it was a good game. The part that really sucks though, why'd the first loss have to be the Mets. But, at least it wasn't the Pirates!! The actual loss does not hurt near as bad as the score!!
ReplyDeleteAs for Mr. Jones, how bout dem O's!! 4 and 0, who would have thought? (I know, I know, Orioles fans would've hoped for it, but who would have thought??)
Save the bronze border Jackie for me. I think these border parallels are goofy but I can't help it with him.
ReplyDelete@NightOwl, I will set Jackie aside for you. @Dawg, I get to watch all the O's games down here, and they are fun to watch now. That's at least good. I like Adam Jones, too. He has tweeted with me a few times. Good dude-humble.
