So in other news, the Phillies snapped a 4 game losing streak last night.  They did this by legging out a win by the skin of their teeth (makes no sense, right?).  They won 2-1 over the Rockies to start a 9 game home stand off the right way.  This was also good because the Marlins lost so they gained a game in the standings.  Ryan Madson has been a rockstar filling in for Brad Lidge (on the DL) as the closer.  He is 7/7 in save opportunities.  His performance has begged the question: when Lidge comes back, does Madson go back to being the 8th inning setup man?  Hasn't he earned the closer role by showing he can handle the pressure?  I think he has.  We'll see what Charlie Manuel thinks.
