Philly Fans Unite, and I Won a Heritage Rack Pack

I am way behind on blog posts.  Yesterday was a wash for me in terms of getting things done because I ran the Broad Street Run in Philly in the morning, and then drove the two hours back home and pretty much passed out and was down for the count the rest of the day.  I did manage to scan some cards for posts later in the week though, so hopefully in the next few days I can get something of substance up for you guys.

As an aside, the Phillies were playing the Mets last night when the news of bin Laden's demise came down, and as word spread across Citizen's Bank Park, chants of "USA" echoed.  Patriotism at its finest.

Even more ironic/creepy/fitting, the inning is the 9th, and the score of the game is 1-1.

And now for some baseball cards.

It was a shock to me when I got an email from Brian from Play at the Plate saying I won his March contest for a Heritage rack pack.

He quickly sent me my winnings and...

Here are the results!

For now, the Chapman's a keeper.  All the rest of the cards are up for trade!

Included in the package that held the Heritage rack pack was also a nice surprise from Brian; a 2011 Halladay gold border card! This was awesome because I am trying to collect as many gold border or blue border numbered Phillies cards from all years as I can!  If you have any to trade let me know; I have lots of numbered cards I can trade you back.
