2007 Bowman: Sweet Pulls

Many of you know Target has the "Power Pack" boxes where they sell packs of cards for $1.59 each.  Most times it is mainly football packs and packs of UD Documentary, but every once in awhile there are some gems that pop up.  Such was the case with these two packs of 2007 Bowman that I found. I figured I'd take my chances, not really being sure if there were any good cards to be had from the 2007 Bowman set. 

Needless to say I was pretty happy with the results.

Tyler Clippard started out a Yankee, but has been a reliever with the Nationals for a few years now.  This year he is an all-star.  Nice Kouzmanoff pull as well.

Cool...a Phillies prospect to add to the collection.

Brandon Hamilton...not even sure if he is in the majors and I'm too lazy to google it.

Who? Pretty boring, but it gets better.

And as for the two best pulls from these packs, below we have....

An Evan Longoria Chrome USA card.  Pretty nice.  Of course the scratches are from the scanner and not on the card.  And last but not least...

A Hunter Pence Chrome rookie.  Needless to say if I find any additional Bowman packs for $1.59  I am going to grab them. 

On a different note, the Phillies won 14-2 over the Marlins last night.  It's fun to watch a slaughtering every once in awhile.  The best part was that they scored many of their runs with two outs.  That's always good to see from your team.

On another different note, I am closing in on 500 cards in the Halladay collection.  I had this crazy idea that maybe I'd go really  big for the 500th card...something of the 1/1 or /5 or /10 variety.  That's yet to be seen, but very tempting!!!
