So I Haven't Posted on Roy Halladay Lately

By lately, I mean the whole month of November.  I feel I am neglecting Roy, so here are some cards I scored at a card show last month.  To give you some idea on how far behind I am on posting, this was early November.  Regardless of the other cards I continue to pick up and post about, I am still always looking for Halladay cards--especially serial numbered cards and oddballs.  Thanks you many of you guys my collection is nearing the 600 card mark and is probably way over it now, as I haven't updated that number on the left yet.  Amazing!
Topps Tribute cards are simply beautiful.  A Tribute card with Roy Halladay on it is even more beautiful to me!
Chrome and Vintage Chrome.
UD A Piece of History /999.
A Halladay sticker. Those sticker things grew on me.
The proverbial Moments and Milestone card /150, highlighting Roy's 16th win.
And finally a Donruss Turn of the Century insert /750.  You can tell the older cards by the size of the serial numbers.  It seems the older the card is the larger the number is.  Nowadays it's hard to even see the serial numbers printed on the Topps cards.  They should all be embossed!

Are you following the MLB Winter Meeting hype?  It seems every other minute there is a "mystery team" putting an offer out there for Pujols.  The Marlins want to give him 10 years and over 200 million dollars.  I hope he stays in St. Louis--I really don't want the Phillies to have to face him and Reyes a bunch of times this season.  Speaking of the Florida Miami Marlins, I think I am in the minority in that I actually like the new uniforms, and the new logo.  I have some thoughts on the Marlins that I will blog about sometime, oh, before spring training.

I'm already anxious for baseball.

  1. I remember that when the 1993 Donruss Elite Kruk came out, it seemed like a big deal that there were *only* 10,000 of them, and they were all serial #ed.

    Ah, those were the days.
