Feel Free to Leave Your Picks Here

My boy Joe Flacco has been blasted in the media this week, even by his own teammates (I'm staring at you, Ed Reed).  No, he isn't an never will be an "elite" quarterback, but consider this: he is 5-3 in the playoffs, and he is the only quarterback to start a playoff game in his first four seasons as a pro.  Not too shabby.  This might just be his time to shine.
Ravens   27
Patriots   24

Giants     17
49ers       14

PS- Here are Flacco's NFL Records

NFL records
  • First rookie quarterback to start all sixteen games and make the playoffs
  • First rookie quarterback to win two playoff games
  • Most starts by a quarterback in first season: 19
  • Most starts by a quarterback in first two seasons: 37
  • Most starts by a quarterback in first three seasons: 55
  • Most wins by a quarterback in first 60 consecutive starts: 40
  • First quarterback to start and win a playoff game in each of his first three seasons
  • Most combined regular and postseason wins in first three years as a quarterback: 36
  • Most playoff road wins: 4

  1. Well I picked Ravens over 49ers before the start of the playoffs and see no reason to change now.

Ravens 20 Patriots 10 Tom Brady has always had trouble with the Ravens defense.

49ers 18 Giants 14 Yes the 18 means I think the Niners get 6 field goals to win.

    BONUS
    Super Bowl
    Ravens 17 49ers 10

    1. What Johnny said?

Seriously, that's almost identical to what I was generally thinking - scores, too.

      Ravens 17, Patriots 10
      49ers 16, Giants 13

      Ravens 20, 49ers 9

  2. AFC Championship Game:
    Ravens 17
    Patriots 24

    NFC Championship Game:
    Giants 30
    49ers 31

With the Seahawks not making the playoffs... and the Packers being bounced last week... I don't have much stock in the remaining teams. So I guess I'm pulling for San Francisco (for my buddies) and Baltimore (since I collect Ray Lewis & Ed Reed). Plus it'd be cool to see a rematch from earlier in the year.

  3. Hoping for a Giants/Patriots Super bowl (a rematch from XLII) with New England on top this time.

    More realistically though:

    Ravens beat the Patriots
    49ers beat the Giants

Super Bowl: 49ers beat the Ravens

I'm no good at guessing scores so I'll leave it at the teams.
