Recent Roys

I haven't posted much about blog hero Roy Halladay recently.  I try not to saturate the blog with too much Roy, but this place is named after an epic quote by him and therefore it's darn warranted.  Plus he is my main player collection, so there's that too.  I am now up to 730 cards.  No, not 730 unique cards, but 730 cards nonetheless.  The cards being unique really isn't all that important to me, as I am trying to amass the largest collection of Roy Halladay cards on planet earth.  The more the merrier.

So here are three cards I picked up at the show a few weeks ago.  

First up, a green Bowman Platinum Roy that I found as I was walking out of the show.  I did not have it so I had to pick it up.

A part of my Roy collection that I am trying to ramp up are cards from the late 90's, and minor league Roy cards.  There are more of these out there than I realize.  Of the 730 cards I own, only 21 are pre-2000.  That number shocks me.

I am always looking for serial numbered Halladay cards.  Next to relics, those are my favorite.

Wow, Ohio is hanging in there with UNC.  This has been a pretty decent tournament.  Hope everyone is having a great Friday night!
