Cliff Lee got his first home win today. You read that correctly. Cliff Lee got his first home win at Citizen's Bank Park. Today. August 26. Near the end of the season. This brings his record to 3-7 for the year.
Lee also helped out the team with his bat, smacking a two run double over the head of phenom Bryce Harper. Lee's always been a decent hitting pitcher, and the fact that he could contribute to his first home win is great.
What better time than now to show you guys the best Cliff Lee card I picked up at the NSCC?

Here is a 2012 Topps Museum Collection Primary Pieces, #57/75. The pitchers sharing the card with Cliff are Verlander, Hellickson, and Kimbrel. He's in pretty good company there. I got a good deal on the card, I believe I paid six bucks for it.
Today I went to the O's game, which turned out to be the O's waterpark. It rained. And rained. And poured, and thundered. The game got called before it even started. It was fun though, as I hung out with friends on the new deck out in center field. We were protected from the rain and had a great view all at the same time. The O's will make up this game on September 24, when they will play a doubleheader with the Blue Jays. Since the Phillies are most likely totally out of postseason contention, it's fun to have a team close by playing meaningful baseball!
