After I Do

Good evening folks!  This is officially the longest amount of time I have been away from the blog, and I intend to make up for it somehow, some way.  Where have I been?  Well, my brother got married last week, I was in the wedding, and I was away most of the week in the Philly area up until Sunday doing wedding stuff and putting life and collecting on hold--mostly.

Last Thursday I went to Citizen's Bank Park with my dad before the rehearsal dinner.  Were we cutting it close time-wise?  Well yes, but it was a business person's special game so it started at 1pm.  I had to get tickets!  The weather was beautiful and we stayed until the 7th inning, just when the Phillies were about to blow the game.  That said, the part of the game we saw was great.  Listening to it on the ride home was not. I got us pretty good seats on StubHub the night before.  Row two in right field.
Cliff Lee pitched and we got to see him up close when he was warming up in the outfield.
The big screen said Topps so of course I had to take a picture.
For those interested in ballpark intricacies, this is what Phillies popcorn comes in.
Here is a view from our seats.  I was pretty happy with it, although it was quite a different vantage point than I've gotten used to with my left field seats at Camden Yards.  The sheer size of Citizen's Bank Park dwarfs the field.  Camden Yards is much more quaint.

I had a bit of down time the day before the wedding, so I decided to buy some cards--a retail box of 2013 Gypsy Queen to be exact.
Here's are the minis I pulled, highlighted by the Harper, Olt, and Ernie Banks cards.  I really do love this 2013 GQ set.  I will show you guys more cards soon--I had some really nice pulls from the box.
