This was to good not to share. Last night the Phillies bullpen (mainly Jake Diekman, going for his first MLB save ever), blew the lead in the top of the 9th against the Braves. In the bottom of the 8th the Phillies put up a five spot to take the lead 6-5. Just one more half inning and three more outs to go, and we get the come from behind victory. The problem is that it didn't exactly turn out that way. Diekman walked two batters and Chase Utley had a fielding error, so the bases were loaded for Dan Uggla. Dan Uggla is notoriously a "Phillies killer." He always hits well in Citizen's Bank Park and against us in general. Deadspin.com has this awesome .gif of fans taunting Uggla, then having their hopes and dreams shattered by his moonshot of a grand slam.
This is the embodiment of what it feels like being a Philadelphia sports fan. Just watch their faces. They mirrored mine, except I was on my couch and not in the stands.
Enjoy.
Love it! Of course I do as a Braves fan.
