So the Phillies just signed Dennys Reyes (pronounced like the restaurant) to a one year deal worth 1.1 million with options and whatnot. This adds a lefty to the 'pen and also a plethora of fat jokes to Philly fans' vocabulary.  How ironic that he has a name synonymous with a restaurant that serves high calorie dishes.

It also adds the second player with an awkward "Y" in his name to the bullpen. Mr. Reyes joins Danys Baez as the second weird Y name pitcher.

Awesome.  I just want him to pitch well.
