Well folks, after a well received first post highlighting some outrageous eBay card pricing, it's back again, chock full of sarcasm!
Today's card is a real rarity. It is from the elusive and hard to find 1990 Upper Deck set, which includes 800 cards, and books high at $25.00 for the entire set. Included in the set is a rookie card of the great Sammy Sosa, who along with Mark McGwire helped to revive public interest in baseball with the pursuit of the home run record in 1998. He finished four homers back of McGwire, and then a few years later he was included on a list of players who tested positive for performance enhancing drugs. But we don't need to get into all that silly business.
Let's get to the bargain. The Sosa card can be yours for only $399.99 or best offer. It's worth it for Sosa's mustache alone. Who's in?
Better yet, it's described as including "piece of authentic." Authentic what no one knows, but that is part of what makes this card so valuable. I'm also shocked to see the seller is not a professional collector. You don't say!
A real steal if you ask me. Never mind that the card books high at $3.00. Hurry and jump on this offer! You can thank me for saving it for you later. I'll hold off on using the buy it now feature to give everyone a chance.
I will continue to look for eBay bargains such as this one and bring them to you so that you can jump on them, and/or have a laugh or a roll of the eyes at the absurdity of uninformed sellers on eBay.
And in other news:
Two wins today would be super.
With bargains like this on eBay, who even needs to go to their LCS or card shows anymore?
