I'm Glad I Listened to You Guys

A few days back I posted on wanting to buy a Roy Halladay Leather Nameplate gimmick manufactured thing from the new 2011 Topps set.  If memory serves correct, the seller was selling it for $39.99 buy it now.  I was tempted.

Well looking at some completed auctions today told me I definitely made the right move. After the 'OMG Topps has new cards out and I have to have them all now' mentality wore off a bit, the card prices have come down and I anticipate them dropping a bit more too. I still want to get my hands on a nameplate or two, but waiting has paid off.   



I ripped five packs of 2008 Goudey and a blaster of 2011 Topps tonight.  Look for posts on those this weekend.

Also, pitchers and catchers report Sunday. I cannot wait.

    I got a Heyward Leather Nameplate in A Cardboard Problem's group break last week and after holding it in hand I can honestly say they ain't all that great. I still say go for it if the price drops to $10 or less. Your package arrived today - thank you so much!!

    Yeah, I think I got sucked into the newness of it all. I will definitely wait, it looks like there are plenty of these to go around. Glad your package arrived safely, and I hope you like the cards!
