Many of you have "side" collections in addition to the players and teams and sets that you collect. Take, for example, Cardboard Collection's collection, of batting pitchers , and I know someone, although I can't remember who, collects cards with cups on them. Can anyone refresh my memory?
Seeing these side collections has inspired me. I've thought about the kind of cards I could collect in addition to my player collections. A few ideas I've thrown around in my head are squatting catchers (my position in fastpitch), players with hats backwards, players with tattoos showing, players in odd places, etc. I just can't figure anything out, so I decided to start with something really easy.
One of my goals for 2011 Topps is to collect all team cards and all shiny team cards. I'm not looking for any other versions other than the base and the shiny.
As an example base White Sox, Very Shiny Rockies.
I think these would look cool displayed in a frame somehow.
Anyway, if anyone has any of the teams I need in either version and wants to trade, let me know!

Diamondbacks--shiny, base
Mets--shiny, via trade
Base:
Angels, Cubs, Mets, White Sox, Rockies
Orioles, Red Sox, and A's.
