First up, Play at the Plate. This was a simple trade, which was ok by me. I sent out a Neftali Feliz Diamond Parallel, and he sent me this:
A nice Roy Oswalt Diamond Parallel. Speaking of, have you guys heard about Oswalt and last year's NLCS? Yeah, he and his wife had a baby between all the madness, and he managed to keep it under wraps until now. That's pretty good media management. Says Oswalt:
"I didn't tell anybody," the right-hander said. "You have two different lives: Here and home, and I try to keep home, home."Can you imagine handling all that at once? Plus one for Oswalt.
Michael S. and I are setting trade records. This is maybe our fifth(?) trade in the past few months. Each trade I send him some Dodgers and cards for his PCs, and he send me Phillies and Nats cards, with some cards for my PCs too.
Four cards for my player collections along with lots of others. Another great trade.
Last up is my trade with The Cardsplitter. I sent him some inserts he needed to help complete his 2010 Topps set, and he sent me some nice Goodwins to go along with my quest to complete the base set.
Amazingly cool looking Goodwins. I absolutely love this set!
Thanks for all the trades everyone.
Now on to busting some 2011 packs...
great blog very interesting about Oswalt. Hard to like one guy over the other on that staff. Trying to start my own blog but am having trouble
