More 2008 UD Timeline Rips

I mentioned in a recent post before that my local dollar store had packs of 2008 Upper Deck Timeline.  Well, they now have ten less packs of that product because I went and bought some more to see what kind of stuff I could pull. I like the promo that there are two insert cards in each pack on average. I was hoping to get something game used or numbered, or just something for my pcs.

Below are four of the better cards I pulled from the packs.  I really like the Griffey card and the Cueto rookie is decent too. 

 And here are some inserts. There were lots, remember two to a pack, on average!  Fukudome rookie and the Mauer are pretty decent.  And then there's Brandon Webb. Have you ever had a player where it seems like all you do is pull their card from every pack or box you break?  Brandon Webb is that player for me.  Does that mean I have to start collecting him? I hope not.

And then we have some of those nice looking die-cut cards I like, as well as another Cueto rookie, different variation this time.

And then this brought the sads.  I managed to pull two Nick Adenhart cards from the packs.  What a terrible story. All indications were that this kid could have turned out to be a pretty decent big league pitcher.  So sad that it was all taken away from him because of someone else's negligence.
