Trade with Emerald City Diamond Gems

First, a contest pimp! Go over to Tomahawk Chopping and enter to win some cards!

And next up is a trade with Emerald City Diamond Gems.  Great blog out of the Pacific Northwest that talks Mariners baseball.  And Mariners cards are exactly what I sent in exchange for what is pictured below (and lots more, of course).

Sweet J-Roll insert card.  Also, is it just me or does Greg Luzinski look a little bit like the incredible Hulk here? Lou Ferrigno-esque in the face? A little? I don't know, that is the first thing I though of when I saw this card.

Would he have passed a steroid test? Hahahahahhaha.
Onward! To more cards!  I was stoked when I saw these Fleer sticker cards.  I think I have every team except for the Phillies, but now I have them too.  I like the old school logos and I think they are just cool in general.
Whoa! Some 1962 Phillies I (of course) did not have. It was a big surprise to see such old time cards included in the lot that was sent.  And underneath those cards are two cards from the Conlon Collection.  I never saw those cards anywhere before so they are rare to me!
A few Michael Jack Schmidt cards were included too.  I highlight these two cards and draw your attention to the stark difference between the two.  That's right, in the bottom card Schmidt has a full beard going. The top card shows him with his more traditional look-a moustache. I can't recall ever seeing him with a full beard, so it was interesting to look at this card in comparison to others.
And since Lenny Dykstra is all over the news these days, why not show a Nails card here. Below him is Von Hayes, another favorite Phillie from my youth.

Also included was a 2011 Roy Hallday Kimball Mini to add to the collection.

Thanks again to Emerald City Diamond Gems for the trade!
