Two Packs Today: Studio, Timeline

I'm trying to think of some kind of creative contest to hold to commemorate 20,000 pageviews (I'm just over 18k) and 200 posts (I'm at 193 with this one).  Hopefully I'll come up with something beyond the usual, but that might not be the case.

Did anyone see the Phillies come from behind win last night?  There is another afternoon game today versus the Marlins in which the Phils go for a 4 game sweep.  You have two teams on opposite ends of the spectrum here. The Phils have won 6 in a row, the Marlins have lost 6 in a row.  I won't make any "the fish are getting fried," or "the Marlins are floundering" jokes, but I just did I guess.
*******
These were the results of a few packs I picked up on the cheap.  The Timeline is from the Dollar Store, and I want to say I got the Studio from the Dollar Store too, but I might have gotten it from Target Power Packs for $1.59.  Somehow that sounds more realistic.
I really like city views and city skyline scenes, so these cards are right up my alley. I got a few good pulls, too, highlighted with the Arod, Griffey, Sandberg, and Bagwell.  The Astros dominated.

Below are the results of the Dollar Store 2008 UD Timeline pack rip. Not bad for a buck, especially the Jay Bruce die cut card at the top.

Some of my Studio cards have already been sent out in trades, but all cards on this page are available for trade, or to be included in a trade.

Thanks for reading, as always.

  2. What section does the dollar store keep packs of cards? I wandered around one by my house and didn't see any.
