Roy Halladay and the Earthquake

Nothing bothers this man. Nothing.

I always wanted to know what it felt like to be in an earthquake, and after experiencing this one I no longer need to know. If that never happens again in my lifetime that is ok with me.

Scary, interesting, puzzling, adrenaline rush inducing all at the same time.  I'm sure west coast people are laughing at us here on the east coast for freaking out about a magnitude 5.9 quake, but for many of us it's the first we've ever experienced in our lifetime.  To say a quake like this is rare around these parts is an understatement.

Wow. We had an earthquake today.

  2. I DO NOT want to know what else can happen today!!!First, a major snafu at the HRBT nets me a two hour commute to work (normally 30 min). Then, 10 min to 2, sitting in an 8 story building, yeah, NEVER want to feel that again!!
Though a truck hit the building at first!! Yeah, Cali can keep that crap. And I'm also about 120 miles from Mineral. My sister is in Richmond, about 20 miles from there, but no damage at her house, thankfully. My wife said the whole house rattled like crazy, she was home for lunch when it hit, I'm about 26 miles from home here in Hampton...
