So I Got Some Mail From Topps...

I figured I should get something from all of the Diamond Giveaway codes I redeemed.  I first redeemed a Mike Schmidt (today is his 62nd birthday, by the way) diamond die-cut card, but I accepted a trade offer for this Roy Halladay die-cut.  No, it's not the black version out of 60, but it will do for the Halladay collection for sure.
When you redeem so many Diamond Giveaway codes, you also get to get something free from Skin-It.  I chose the Halladay iPhone cover thing.  I don't think I will use it, but still it is cool to have. I might see if it will fit my iPod instead.  I thought for sure they would at least charge a shipping and/or handling fee, but it was 100% free.  So, if you have that in your prize box on the site, it'll cost you nothing and the selection is huge.
I also got a Brian Matusz diamond die-cut card which I decided to trade for the Carlos Ruiz below.  Once I got the offer for it I jumped on it, since Matusz isn't a highly collectible player (sorry to all of you who collect him, lol).  I was afraid I wouldn't get any more offers for it!  I like these cards because they are not flimsy--they are thick like a game used card.  Topps had them packaged well too, so they get some points there for them arriving with no damage.
Yes, I know it's sideways, but that's how it scanned.  You get the point!  Next on the docket is a Hunter Pence die-cut. To eBay I go...

  2. Okay, guess no longer need to go keep trying to trade for a Halladay on the site, lol. Also, the Skin-its are great! I got the vintage Cubbies logo.

  3. I redeemed the skin-it and got a sweet Red Sox skin for my PS3 controller. I approve of the skins!
