This recent Topps gold pick up of the great Roy Halladay about to hug the great Chooch Ruiz is a prime example of what I am focusing on collecting right now. Gold cards, numbered cards, oddball cards, etc.
To those of you I promised cards to, I haven't forgotten about you! I started teaching (a grad class) again so between that and my full time job I haven't had as much time as I'd like to focus on my collection or, sadly, the blog. I am trying to post pretty regularly even though the posts might not be very long or terribly interesting.
Something I am watching
very closely is the Prince Fielder situation. If Prince goes to the Nats, it changes the whole complexion of the NL East, which seems to be getting better and better this off season. I have some thoughts on the NL East--and particularly the Nationals--and there will be a post on this in the near future.
