It's been a long time since I treated myself to a hobby box of cards, so I decided to head on over to Blowout Cards and see what kind of deals they had going on. Seeing nothing of real interest there, I went to search Blowout Cards on eBay and found that they were selling many hobby boxes there too. I wanted something different--something older, something that I haven't seen much of nor do I own much of.
So, after thinking about it a bit I decided to go with this:
2006 Upper Deck Future Stars baseball. The box seems loaded, according to the configuration:

I was sold at the five autographs per box on average thing. Also the fact that there are pretty big autos to be had, including Justin Verlander (which is selling for 100 bucks on eBay), Jonathan Papelbon, and Ryan Zimmerman, to name a few. There are also 9 numbered parallels on average, too. I figured I would try my luck. I got this box for $45.00 shipped. Of course I will have a full report on how I did next week when I rip it.
If you are interested in one, there are still 8 boxes left on eBay at a buy it now for $45, with free shipping!
Good luck! Pull some Dodgers for me! Hahaha!
