1. I think that getting off on a technicality might be counterproductive for Ryan Braun. Show us evidence that you really didn't do it, and that it wasn't the chain of custody that exonerated you.
3. I think this story should not have been public to begin with, and I think it's a tough deal that Braun got with the leak.
4. I think I have not heard a reasonable explanation from Ryan Braun or anyone else as to why the test came back positive.
5. I think it would take a lot of guts and callousness for the collector of the specimen to taint the sample.
6. I think Ryan Braun's stats will be down this year, and that will raise eyebrows.
7. I think that Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews should stick to football.
8. I think that I have not heard a reasonable explanation as to why subsequent tests came back normal so soon after the positive test.
9. I think that we should not be surprised that the players are backing Braun 100%. They'd want the same thing for themselves, of course.
10. I think that this: “If I had done this intentionally or unintentionally I’d have been the first one to admit it. I truly believe this substance never entered my body.” is odd way to put it. Do you truly believe because you've convinced yourself? How about saying, " I didn't
11. I think that everyone wants this test to be a false positive because no one wants to realize that all around good guy Ryan Braun could be doping.
12. I think I have never heard MLB use such strong language as: Major League Baseball vehemently disagrees with the decision rendered today...
13. I think that we probably will never know the full truth as to whether or not Braun used a banned substance.
14. I think that everyone will have an opinion on this, and while my thoughts don't matter in the least, it's my blog and I'll speculate if I want to :-).
15. I think I want to believe that Braun is innocent, but I'm having a hard time doing that, unfortunately.
I'm in Braun overload right now. To the sensory deprivation tank!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you saw this but figured you'd like it!!!! njoy! Thanks, Dion

Nice rundown. I don't know if we'll figure it out, but there's definitely something fishy going on in the Braun camp -- in both camps.
ReplyDeleteI agree with a lot of your thoughts, except for the 9th one. Because Braun got off on a technicality, not everybody believes him and I think that includes the players (Brewers & non-Brewers alike). They won't say that to his face obviously, but I can see some pitchers who Braun'll hit home runs off blame Braun using PEDs for their lackluster performance.
