NL East
Philadelphia Phillies
Washington Nationals
Atlanta Braves
Miami Marlins
New York Mets
Comments: Of course I have to go for the Phillies. I have thought for awhile now that the Nats will come in second place in the division. Not sure about the Wildcard for them, but that is within reach too I believe. It was hard for me to pick the Braves and the Marlins placement. I think that is a bit of a crapshoot. One thing is for sure: this division is more up in the air than ever before.
NL Central
Milwaukee Brewers
St. Louis Cardinals
Cincinnati Reds
Pittsburgh Pirates
Chicago Cubs
Houston Astros
Comments: I struggled with this one a bit. I wanted to put the Pirates third, but couldn't pull the trigger. I'm also impressed by the Cardinals but I can't dismiss the pitching of the Brewers, despite losing Fielder. I believe the Cubs and Astros will be in the basement (duh). I think the Pirates will finish above .500, but just by a few games.
NL West
Arizona Diamondbacks
San Francisco Giants
Los Angeles Dodgers
Colorado Rockies
San Diego Padres
Comments: Not too much to say on this one, but if I got any part of it wrong it is that the Rockies will finish higher than second to last.
AL East
New York Yankees
Tampa Bay Rays
Boston Red Sox
Toronto Blue Jays
Baltimore Orioles
Comments: Another tough call here, once you get past the Yankees. I wanted to put the Blue Jays third, but how can I dismiss the Red Sox? The Orioles are going to be terrible, I think everyone already knows that. The saving grace for the O's is that Camden Yards is a great place to watch a ball game.
AL Central
Detroit Tigers
Minnesota Twins
Chicago White Sox
Kansas City Royals
Cleveland Indians
Comments: No contest here, really. If I have a question here it is the position of the bottom three teams. I think they are up in the air.
AL West
Texas Rangers
Los Angeles Angels
Seattle Mariners
Oakland A's
Comments: Very tough to choose first and second place here, but I like the Rangers' pitching better than the Angels.
