A Day of Firsts

I came into my office today and there was something on my chair.  When I saw what it was, I knew it was a good omen:
One of my co-workers bought me a bag of Phillies peanuts because she knows how much I like the team! The catch is that she didn't know it was Opening Day.  Also since we are in Maryland, Phillies stuff is few and far between around here.  I knew it was a sign that the Phils would have a win today in Pittsburgh.
Starting line-up, Opening Day 2012.  Pretty cool stat about Rollins.
Doc's numbers. He is pretty consistent.
The first pitch to the Phillies in the 2012 season.  A called strike to Shane Victorino from Eric Bedard.
Roy's first 2012 start.
Freddy Galvis' first big league at bat.  He grounded into two double plays in a row and went 0-4 in his MLB debut.  Nerves.
Maybe my favorite screenshot of the day.  Charlie Manuel's first discussion with an umpire over a call came with one out in the second inning of the 2012 season.

Baseball is back!
