Cards Night Owl Sent Me

Thank you Night Owl for the cards below, and yes the thank you is very late because you sent these a very long time ago!  Your blog continues to set the standard for what a good collecting blog should look like.  I know I don't only speak for myself when I write that.

Kyle Drabek is pitching tonight against the Orioles. He has only given up 3 hits through 6, but they are down 2-0.  

Where will Roy Oswalt end up? Word on the street is that the Red Sox are very, very interested in Roy's services.  Probably by the All-Star break he will be part of some team that needs starting pitching help.

Strasburg is ridiculously good.  I think he has gotten better since Dr. Andrews got hold of his arm and operated on it.  The word is that sometimes pitchers throw harder after Tommy John surgery because of the arm being tighter.  Strasburg surely isn't throwing any slower, that is for sure.

DeFratus was on a track to possibly make the big club, but he has been hurting in the elbow area.  I literally just read that he has been shut down for four weeks with a flexor pronator strain. How frustrating it must be for young guys trying to make it to have to sit out and watch others possibly take their place simply due to injury.  All part of the game, I guess.
