It's Almost June

It's almost June, the Phillies are playing the Mets, and Cliff Lee was on the mound.  He pitched pretty well for about 5 2/3 innings, but then Lucas Duda (Lucas FREAKING Duda) hits a first pitch fastball over the fence in right center and just like that the Phillies are down 3-1.

And as I type this the Phillies tied up the game, 3-3 on a Carlos Ruiz pinch hit homer.  Still...

Coming into the game Cliff Lee has ZERO wins.  He is 0-2.  Through the first two months of the season, one of the best pitchers in the game, who has a 3.00 ERA, has zero wins.  Through 56 innings or so the Phillies have only scored around 18 runs for Lee.

Heartbreaking.  A far cry from this:
