I don't know when, I don't know where, and I don't know why I started scooping up as many of the 2011 Triple Threads Roy Halladay base cards /1500, but I'm neck deep in it now, as I have mentioned many times before on the blog.
As I roll on, the quest gets more fun, more interesting, and definitely more challenging. I've expanded my buying horizons well away from eBay, and now have used Check Out My Cards, and also SportsLots. I've had great success with both, and I love how dealers put so many cards in a lot together.
Today in the mail I got 10 more cards for this collection. One seller had seven in a lot, and the other I found had three in a lot. The prices were right, so I bit. I find that buying these cards on eBay is getting to be less and less, because the ones that are left are ridiculously priced. I don't mind paying shipping costs, but fair shipping costs need to be the law of the land. The ones that are left are not. Regardless, I look each day to see if there are any new cards posted for the super collection.

The addition of these 10 bring the current total to 29. 29/1500. I feel a strange sense of pride about this, so I'll just go with it.
