Some time ago I posted about how I was close to reaching my 1GB limit of pictures on the blog. I thought maybe it was some sort of fluke, and I really wasn't close to hitting it, seeing as many of you told me that you have been blogging for years with no issues. Well, low and behold my last post I was unable to upload pictures without deleting some from my Picasa album first. So yeah, I guess I have posted way too many pictures on the blog! I will have to start using a third party host, I guess. The last thing I want to do is have to erase all the pictures from past posts.
Regardless, there was room on this post for pictures, so here are more of the 2012 Update cards I pulled from the blaster pre-hurricane Sandy. These were packs three and four.
Not too much to write home about. Not much to see here. Continue.
Ian Kennedy gold, and Chris Nelson golden shiny (ugly to me) card.
Ever seen Henry Rodriguez pitch? He throws about a billion miles per hour, and the scary part is that he has a bit of a case of the Randy Johnson's vs. John Kruks. The dude can be so wild, it is dangerous. I saw him pitch many times being in the Nats media market. When he is on he is great, and when he is wild he is Mitch Williams on speed.I have yet to pull any decent Bryce Harper or Mike Trout cards, but I have pulled a few Yu Darvish cards out of the boxes and packs I've opened. The one above being the most recent, of course.
Yay! A Phillies player! Halladay? Chooch? Hamels? Lee?....Oh, Laynce Nix.
As a kid, for some reason I used to like the Mets. Wow, I admitted that. Back then I didn't realize the significance of the whole "division rivals" thing. I think I just used to like the blue and orange colors on the hat. Back then that stuff was more important than how many games were won and whatnot. Gary Carter was one of my favorite players then, as was HoJo. Needless to say I am pretty sure my liking of the Mets waned when I turned 12 or so.
Last card of the night, a Ryan Dempster gold. I seemed to pull a good number of gold border cards out of this box.
For those of you reading that were affected by the hurricane, I hope all is as well as it can be. Here in central Maryland we got very lucky, and mainly got some wind and lots of rain. I know folks farther north did not fare so well. I spent my childhood summers on the Jersey shore and seeing the pictures are heartbreaking. Here's to hoping for brighter days ahead.
I went through the "can't upload photos" thing a couple of years ago. I ended up buying more space from Picassa. It's 5 bucks a year, but you get a TON more space (20 GB compared with 1 GB), and you never have to worry about it again.
ReplyDeleteOr you can change your blog to "multiple users," since Picassa is user based. You just have to come up with a second name and post some from "Funner Here" and some from the new name.
I might have to do that...
DeleteI got a Ryan Howard gold I'll swap for Dempster.
