Cliff Lee and Hunter Pence

Hello folks.  Before we get to the blog post let's all take a moment to reflect on Roy Halladay's horrific outing today:

He allowed seven hits, five runs, one walk and two home runs and struck out three in just 2 2/3 innings.  Not very Doc-like.

What does this prove?  Nothing! It's Spring Training so who cares except me and other Phillies fanatics across the country?

I'm trying not to think about it, so maybe I should look at a sweet 2009 Bowman Chrome Cliff Lee #108/150 to take my mind off things (honestly, it's not that bad, just not Roy-like).

This card is absolutely gorgeous. The corners are razor sharp, too. The only thing that would make it better is if Lee was in a Phillies uniform.  A very nice $1 pick-up at last weekend's show.
Another non-Halladay pick-up I got was this 2011 gold Hunter Pence.  I am slacking on my Pence collecting, so I will be looking to beef that up soon.  I think Pence will have a great year this year, now that he is acclimated to the Phillies.
Time for me to go finish my brackets.  If the NCAA tournament is anything like the two games last night, we are in for a real show.  Those two comebacks by WKU and BYU were nothing short of incredible.
