Surprise Mail Day

Getting packages in the mail that are unexpected is the best. Last week I got an envelope from Derek at Tomahawk Chopping and it had some awesome stuff in it. Here are some of the cards he sent.
The Nats are most likely going to win the NL East, and go to the playoffs. Good thing they have Strasburg, one of the leagues best pitchers, who has 197 strikeouts on the season.

Or not.

Stephen Strasburg has officially been shut down for the season. Not temporarily until the playoffs, but permanently until next season. I'd be pretty ticked off if I was him, getting shut down three strikeouts away from 200. Plus, he was a big reason the Nats got to this point, so it must sting to know he is not going to be part of any post season success they have.
An x-fractor and a chrome insert!
I have several Jordan Zimmerman autos, and this is another one for the collection. Jordan Zimmerman will definitely be part of any post season success the Nats have.
Strasburg must feel pretty small.
And what would this post be without an orange Chrome Cliff Lee card?

Thanks for sending these cards, Derek!
