No, not anymore.
At the Orioles FanFest that is coming up in a few weeks, there are $15 autograph sessions--all benefit charity. They announced the signers on Wednesday and the lineup does not disappoint. Getting a $15 autograph from some of these players is unheard of.
They sell the tickets by the way of stations, as you can see by the screenshot I took. There are three or four players signing at each station, and $15 gets you an autograph from all players at that particular block. The tickets went on sale--250 per station--yesterday at 10am. Boy am I glad that I logged on right at 10, because they sold out in a few hours. Apparently this is the first time it has happened, where the tickets sold in hours and not days. What success will do for a team, huh?
So, who'd I get? Manny Machado...Dylan Bundy...and Adam Jones, along with the the other players signing at their stations. Should be a lot of fun!
Congrats! I'm not an Orioles fan, but I would love at shot at a Palmer or a Weiters auto for 15.00. This was a great idea by the Orioles organization.
ReplyDeleteConsider yourself lucky since the Machado stations reportedly sold out in 5 minutes. Luckily I was able to get Gausman/Palmer/Teagarden and Arrieta/Bundy/Reimold before everything sold out.
