More Stuff From the Value Pack

And I'm back with more results from the value pack.  It's been awhile since I've bought anything new, but that will change soon.  A hobby box of A&G is in my near future as a happy birthday gift to myself.

Hey Twins fans, how is Joe Mauer doing at first base? As a catcher, I know that as soon as you go out into the field from behind the plate it's like you are in another dimension. It's such a strange feeling seeing the game from one angle when you are so used to seeing it from another for so long. It's not just that, it's calling the game too.  I played four innings at second base in college. There was a reason I only played four innings there, believe me.  Heading back behind the plate was like being at home (pun intended, bad pun at that).
Are we still supposed to dislike the French?  I don't know where the American masses stand on that these days.  Regardless, here's some French dude on a 20th Anniversary Retrospective card.
Part of the reason I wa sucked in to buying this value pack was because of the 2009 Goodwin pack staring me in the face.  I am still chasing the set, but who knows when it will happen.  I haven't been very active in trying to fill in the gaps recently.
I think I have ten of these Lidell cards.  I always seem to pull them.  Same with the Hawaii dude.
Tulo, Nash, and Utley.  Sounds kind of like a law firm.
Well, I didn't need any of the cards I pulled for the set chase.  Remind me why I buy these things?
