Numbered Cards for a Quarter? Ok.

Numbers, numbers, numbers...

Here's some loot from the Show at Chantilly that I went to in early July.  I found a quarter box and spent over an hour there, mainly due to the fact that there were numbered cards mixed in.  Needless to say I got all of them that were available.  Who cares if they are 2007 Topps Chrome?  I don't think I ever got numbered cards so cheap.  Plus, they are cool looking, so why not.
Melvin Mora used to (sort of) be a fan favorite when he played in Baltimore.  He's switched teams so many times I can't keep track of where he is, if he's even playing. Maybe he's a Rockie now? Or was?
Here's a numbered Chrome Lidge.  A big thank you to Ed Wade, GM of the Astros, for sending us Lidge, Oswalt, and now Pence.  You're the man, Ed.  Also, congrats to Lidge for recording his 100th save in a Phillies uniform today.
All except Lidge available to be included in a trade package. Lowe is already in Nomo's Sushi Platter's collection now, even if he doesn't know it yet because of the cross-country trip the package is taking from Maryland to California.

  1. Mora was a (fairly productive) Rockie last year. He moved on to the DBacks this year and sucked. I think they released him earlier this year.

  2. I can't wait to get the Lowe card. I enjoyed watching him play as a Dodger. Thanks!

  3. Gotta love finding boxes like that @ shows. I always grab numbered cards when I find cheapo boxes.
