No, not because they are sad, but because they are from Wal-Mart exclusively. So maybe they are sad. And maybe this "joke" equating blue with sad is getting really old.
Yeah. I'll stop now.
Alas, here we have some terribly scanned examples of retail promotion at its finest. These are the Phillies I picked up at the card show this past weekend.
Now all I have to do is buy packs from Target for the red borders. Oh yea, Toys R' Us too for the purple borders. Did I mention how much I despise going into Toys R' Us stores?
First of all, they mark up their rack packs $1 more than other retailers for some reason. And the other thing is that it is often impossible to find the card aisle, or display. I find myself wandering through aisles of Easy Bake Ovens and Barbies, not to mention screaming children, only to find that the store doesn't even have any current product.
Purple borders on eBay? I think so.
I still need the blue border Pence and Clifton Lee, and the Zimmerman and Strasburg...gosh do I have too many PCs?
Nah.
A quick shout out (when did I become a DJ?) to Crackin' Wax for posting about my blog today. If you aren't part of the link-back program, you should consider it!
Definitely my pleasure. Thanks for linking the site!
