Several reports say that the Phillies are in the process of putting together a "big offer" to keep Cole Hamels in the City of Brotherly Love. That surely makes fans happy, but will Hamels go for it, or want to see what his "true" worth is at the end of the season? I guess all of that depends on how much he wants to stay in Philly versus how much he wants to possibly go back to the west coast--probably the Dodgers.
This was such a promising sight at the beginning of the season.
Halladay did pitch yesterday in Class A Clearwater for his rehab assignment. He threw three innings and gave up only one unearned run. Speculation is that he will be coming back to the Phillies to start the Tuesday game in Colorado.
I continue to prep for the big show in August. It is killing me watching all of you open your packs and boxes of Ginter, because the product appears to be loaded. I want to buy packs pretty badly, but I also want to buy a hobby box in August, so I am being patient. Ginter isn't going anywhere, after all.
