I have two panoramic shots to share with you.
First up is the scene across from the Pratt St. Ale House, a very popular bar and restaurant on the corner of (you guessed it) Pratt St. It is right down the road from Camden Yards and where many, many people celebrate Opening Day. Some have tickets to the game, but many don't! It took me an hour to find a parking garage that wasn't full--and this was at 11:30 in the morning. The game didn't start until 3!
Here is a shot from where our Opening Day tickets were. This is a few sections over from where my season tickets are. It was a good game, capped off by a Chris Davis grand slam.
These are my season tickets. I have the Sunday plan but I will most likely be at the ballpark much more than that.
So basically this weekend was a whirlwind because on Friday I had Opening Day (all day), Saturday morning I went up to Atlantic City to meet some friends for a bachelorette gathering, spent the day and night there, got up early this morning and drove back to Maryland in time to make it home, change, and head down to Camden Yards again for the baseball game today against the Twins. Some of you out west or even in the central states probably cannot relate to being in so many states in a day. Today I was in four states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland!
So no baseball cards for me this weekend; I don't think I would have had any time to open a pack.
It was a whirlwind, but certainly fun.
