A New Matt Szczur (Pronounced Caesar) PC

Hey all! Just a quick post to let you know that yes, I am still here.  I thought I'd show you some recent-ish pick ups both from eBay and from group breaks.

Have you seen the Matt Szczur story?  If not, I highly suggest you read it and/or watch it.  Matt played college football and baseball for Villanova University, which is very near where I grew up.  He now is a center fielder for the Chicago Cubs in their farm system, and considered a top prospect.  After seeing his story (you can click here to read and/or see it) I knew I had to pick up some of his cards and possibly start a player collection of him.  Hence, here is my first Matt Szczur card for what might become a new pc.
I have also recently purchased a card for a definite pc of mine: this 2013 Topps Finest Joe Flacco blue parallel, numbered 8/99.
Group breaks with Layton Sports Cards have been my poison of choice these days. I am in what seems like several group breaks per week, and I am certainly hooked.  I've gotten some very nice cards, including these two Miguel Sano autos below from 2013 Bowman Platinum.  I got a base and also a green #/399.
I scored the Twins in the randomizser for that break, and it certainly paid off. I also got a Max Kepler auto, four Byron Buxton rookie cards, and three Sano rookies in addition to the two autographs.  Cool stuff.
I was in another 2013 Finest case break tonight and scored the Titans. I didn't get a hit, but that's ok.  No one goes empty handed with Layton Sports Cards. They send you a hobby pack if you go hitless in a break. Check out their break schedule: it's awesome!  There are some super cheap but quite good teams left for the 2013 Topps Chrome coming out tomorrow. If you've never done a group break before, what are you waiting for? It's a chance at huge hits for a very low cost.--just check out my two Sanos!

He is one of my Son Matts best Friends.
Matt played for my 12-U Travel team the South Jersey Stars.
There is no nicer deserving young man than Matt.He works non-stop and is a true class act in every sense of the word. He would help anyone and has zero ego and temper. Just a really fun person to know. If you write him he would probably write back.
    Thanks for the kind words.
