I Have A Question

What is a Super Collector?  What makes one a "Super Collector" of a player, team, etc.?  Is there some sort of definition that one must fit into?  With close to 800 Halladay cards can I be considered a Halladay Super Collector?

The only thing is, I don't have a cape.

Congrats to the Phillies who are back to .500 with a win tonight over the Marlins.  Ty Wigginton went yard, as did Shane Victorino.  I think this team is finally finding its identity.  Let's hope.
This guy got the save!

  1. I guess I'm a Rey Ordonez super collector. To me that means you collect everything of that player. Every base card, parallel, insert, jersey/bat and auto card you can find. 800 Halladay cards? Sounds to me like you're on your way to becoming a Halladay super collector!

  2. I agree with Mark. It means you try to get all the cards of your player. I'm a Red Sox team collector cause I try to get all the Red Sox cards that come out and I'm a player collector cause I try to get every single Bill Virdon card no matter how obscure it may be.

  3. I require the cape. at 800, I would give you super collector status...I don't think you have to collect every card. I don't think 1/1 cards should be a requirement. Although a super collector probably should have at least one 1 of 10 card or 1/5 even.

  4. I would give you the super collector cape for Halladay. I feel I'm deserving of the Phillies super collector cape for having nearly 16,000 cards, but I'm not sure where the line lies for team collectors.
